Seared Chipotle Tuna on Toasted Ciabatta Rolls!!

While a tuna sandwich is a "ho-hum" boring dinner, let's turn up the volume with a seared chipotle tuna steak sandwich on toasted ciabatta rolls with fresh tomato and spring greens!! Yes please! Here's how Gremlin does tuna sandwiches for dinner tonight! After thawing and drying my tuna steaks, I spiced them up with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and my favorite smoky flavor weapon, chipotle seasoning. Now, heat up the pan (med-high heat) and get ready to drop that tuna!! Coat pan with olive oil and drop those tuna steaks. Cook for about 2 - 2 and 1/2 minutes per side. Remove and let the meat rest for at least 10 minutes!!! Have patience and DO IT! Your meat will be juicy and you will be a happy sandwich eater! While your tuna is resting, get ready to assemble your sandwich! Toast the ciabatta roll, slice the fresh tomato, and get some greens! Lay some of that chipotle dressing on the bottom roll, place the tuna steak on top, add a tiny bit more dressing, and top with sliced tomato and greens! Add a side salad to that smokey, savory tuna steak sandwich and you have one protein packed super-meal of deliciousness! Tuna turned up a notch! Yes, please!!!!
