Grilled Vegetables and Chicken... Gremlin Style!

It's 70 degrees, the sun is shining, and tonight's action is ON THE GRILL!!! Tonight it's all about veggies, and it couldn't be ANY EASIER!! Grilled chicken tenders and veggies, simple, healthy, and delicious! First I started with my bountiful veggie drawer! Zucchini, red pepper, asparagus, and red onion! Thank you veggie drawer! Thick slice the veggies, drizzle with a little olive oil, salt and pepper, and they're ready for the grill! Over high heat, spread those veggies over the grill. The asparagus only took about 5 minutes on high heat, turning once. The rest took about 15-20 minutes (depending on their thickness), turning once. You could grill your favorite veggies, but this is what I had, and it was phenomenal! After grilling the veggies, park them on the side. Keep the grill hot, and get the chicken ready to join the party! This morning, I marinated tenders in some store bought teryaki sauce, and put in a baggie while I went to work. Tonight, I pulled it out of the zip-loc baggie, and put them on the grill for 2 and one half to 3 minutes per side. With the chicken done it's time to eat!! That's literally all there is to it... couldn't be easier or more delish. So here's dinner, Stevie's way... Tender delicious chicken and asparagus! Gremlin-Mom approved dinner, indeed... or my way... Soft tortilla topped with chicken and grilled veggies! That's it, now, time to grab that portable dinner and eat up! When grill meets veg... everyone's in for a super satisfying, healthy treat!
